About

Paul Scherrer Institut campus in Villigen, Switzerland

Welcome to my academic homepage. I am a postdoctoral researcher at Paul Scherrer Institut (PSI) in Switzerland, working at the intersection of sustainable energy conversion, hydrothermal reaction engineering, and environmental technology.

My research focuses on hydrogen production, catalytic hydrothermal reactions, supercritical water gasification, waste treatment, and heat and mass transfer in complex reacting systems. I am particularly interested in catalyst activity and stability, hydrothermal conversion systems, salt crystallization and deposition, and the translation of reaction mechanisms into practical energy and environmental applications.

Before joining PSI, I received my bachelor’s degree from Shandong University and my doctoral degree from Xi’an Jiaotong University. These experiences shaped my interest in combining experiments, modelling, and reactor-level thinking to understand and improve high-pressure hydrothermal processes.

I am always happy to discuss possible collaborations on hydrothermal conversion, hydrogen-rich gas production, catalysis, salt management, and coupled experimental and modelling approaches. Please feel free to contact me if our research interests overlap.
